{Playing with Food} Domo Kun Toast

For those who do not know, Domo-Kun is a mascot of Japan's public broadcaster NHK, usually shown in a short stop-motion animation. This cute little guy is a small brown open-mouthed monster who lives with a wise old rabbit underground. He also really likes TV.

Every morning I look at this bread, it reminds me of Domo-Kun so I just have to bring it to life.

Here is what I used for this Domo-Kun toast:

Country Harvest multigrain bread
Strawberry jam
Blueberries
Banana slices

The bread is the key of this Domo-Kun character, it needs to be in the same shape and colour, so the multigrain bread makes the perfect canvas for him. Of course, toasting it will be even better and tastier. I then spread strawberry jam in a square in the center to form the mouth, cut banana slices into triangles to act as teeth. Last but not least, two blueberries for the eyes. Cute and simple!
